    Took a trip to the national zoo this past weekend...Shooting through dirty plexiglass and huge bars proved to be EXTREMELY frustrating..Anyway, heres what I got, C&C please.

    Hey, did you get a pic of the baby panda????

    Yeah, zoos don't seem to consider photographers at all when they design the exhibits...too much dirty class, bars and wire.

    My faves are #5 (the dozing, contented looking alligator) and 9 (the upwards gazing sloth bear(?))

    I got once picture of him, but unfortunately he was hiding in a place that I couldn't get a really clear shot....I stood around for 30 minutes waiting for him to move, but he wouldn't...Anyway, heres the picture:

    Yes, I have to agree with you about the dirtiness of their Plexiglases..It proved most noticeable in the one animal I was really looking forward to photographing, the poison arrow frogs...I find their vibrant colors to be amazing. Unfortunately, all my shots of them were ruined by dirty glass :(.
