I was wondering if anyone here has done some nature or landscape photography for magazines, and if so, how did you get the job, and what techniques did you use? I heard that for that type of work you need to use a super super super low iso, and if shooting film like using 50 speed film. Also, how would one go about getting a job for like, national geographic? Just have a killer portfolio, or basically just know the right people?

Yeas and sooooo much more with lot of luck thrown in but realize NG is a job that I think every single aspiring photographer thinks of when dreaming of the dream job so if you started being a pro nature or feature photographer out of the womb you have a good chance of getting in there otherwise you have a biiiiig ladder to climb.
