great job.....:thumbup: how do you find the sigma lens?..... my cursor has been hovering over the order button for the last few weeks..... do you get on with it?

Um, I don't think its the DG version, just the regular 105mm f2.8 EX...that being said, its very sharp in my opinion at f2.8. Being able to get 1:1 is fun when you can do it, and since the barrell extends so far when it focuses down that far, you don't need the lens hood that comes with it. I got my copy used for about $300, so it was considerably cheaper than the Canon or other brand equivalents. I"d recommend it.

I was bought the 70-300 DG lens this year and i can fault it. Only thing that goes wrong is the operator!!

I know what you mean! My poor camera probably feels like the viper being driven by a 90 year old man.
