They all three look overexposed to me.
The conversion into black & white could do with more contrasts. More real black parts. For the time being, the foreground (subject?) seems all grey, and the sunlit background about to be blown (overexposure, like I said).

When you try to photograph the motion of water in broad daylight, you have to work with filters. Else you cannot achieve the necessary (slow) shutter speed without over exposing. The white water is all white and without detail, and so is at least one brighter rock.

But this one looks like a nice little stream and you might get back there at dusk to try again, when you can also work without filters since there's less light anyway?
 
Or, as implied by LaFoto, use some filters... a circular polarizer would be bonzo in this situation.

FYI Bonzo=good thing. Well, in my eyes anyway. :lol:
