using a portable dvd player
Wow, thats a slick idea!
Seems like a pricey idea to me. I get by just fine with the LCD and histogram on my camera.
umm....portable dvd players aren't that expensive.
Umm... I am positive that the money could be spent better elsewhere. Plus I really have no use for one.
depends - personally I would be tempted to go the next level and use a laptop for real display, but unless you get one of those ultra thin macs most laptops are going to be a burden a DVD player though is much lighter!
I think its a good investment if you are getting paid for the shoot
Considering I already have one....Now I gotta go get it out and try this. Damn, why didn't I think of that.
I shoot at my clients houses a lot and just bring my cord and hook straight into their TVs. But the portable DVD player is a neat idea!
Ive seen that. I think it would be useful in some situations, but really not that many
Ha, this works great. This will be very nice for shots in the lightbox. Just have it set up on the table next to the box for a much better preview of shots.
i use my laptop if the conditions are right ie....no kids running around.
i like the idea of having a 7" viewing screen.
