Nectarine ....(studio)

So I wanted to try something kinda artsy in the studio with various objects. I couldn't decided which one I liked better, the 2nd one with post process looks like an oil painting and I do like it but does it look over processed? Thanks for looking. I ate it afterwards.....I couldn't resist.

I think a little more light from camera right might have helped, in my opinion, to make the objects a little more clear and distinctive from the background.

Of these two, I like the edited version a bit better, though the photo was never all crisp and sharp to begin with, and too dark, as well, which is why you can only go that far and no further.
