Happy New Year everyone! Well, I'm having a hard time picking just one of the below macro shots I took last year, so I need a little help. I can only enter one photo into a contest. If you were asking me, I would pick the anole lizard with pink begonias, but I'm concerned if the sub-1:1 mag would not go over well. I don't think it would be disqualified, but it certainly might pose the question if it's close enough.
If you could, shout-out for your favorite in this list.

    Thanks,
    -Roy

I am torn between 7 or 9, both of which are really interesting. The lizard does not look like a macro to me.

I really like number 8. It looks like the dragonfly is smiling at you.

All are nice shots. Number 7 looks like he is smiling up at the camera.

Is that the DIY ring flash at work? Looks nice.

It's very very hard to pick on that stands out against the rest - especailly when we can't pick the lizard!
I would say that 4 and 5 are possibly a little dark and might be the weaker choices from the selection ( to my eye)

must say though number 3 has always caught my eye as interesting - I think partly as its not as common a seen bug

Okay, I'm a beginner, but #7 really stands out to me as not only a great macro shot, but very humorous! I just had to laugh out loud when I saw that one. It's unique.

But, every one of these is gorgeous!

I would say number three or number five. The detail in five is phenomenal
