need a opinions from wise photographers

And if you're tight for money, I would recommend a film SLR. I usually recommend digital because in the end it will be a lot cheaper and it is a much better learning tool, but an FSLR is a lot better than a P&S.
 
thanks for all of your advice. yes i have been getting into the habit of getting the old EasyShare out almost everyday and practicing. just bought a kayak so the money reserves are pretty low but my ultimate goal is Nikon digital D40. been gettin some neat shots from my kayak. i think it was a good investment.
 
Honestly, I think you need work on composition. The photos don't really speak to me. They don't tell a story.

I actually REALLY like the third one--my dad had a ranger when I was a kid, and the height of the photo reminds me of the perspective I had when driving somewhere with him.
 
im so gald you liked it djacobox. thats a '67. still goin strong. ive always thought it had alot of character myself.
