Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Hello,

I took the following photo on my way back from Nevada. I think it turned out nice. I would like some critique in terms of composition. I havent done any post processing, and I feel like can improve the photo with some post processing. I am really new to photoshop so can some one give me some advice on what I can do to improve the photo.

Some info on the exposure:
Shutter Speed: 1/500 sec
Aperture: F7.1
ISO: 100
Focal length: 100mm

I took the exposure with the 100mm canon macro lens which is the only lens i have at the moment.

Thanks

It almost feels like it needs more on the right hand side...

how about try cropping it to make a portrait orientated photo?

yes i agree. i like the stacked layers of snow, trees, rocks, sky. the shot would be cool as a portrait, showing off these layers. fairly narrow as well, house centered at the bottom, and boost the contrast a bit.

sorry i am a total noob, i am not sure what you mean by portrait style, can you please be a bit more specific.

Thanks

They mean to crop the picture so that it looks as it would if you had taken the picture the way standard portraits are done, ie turn the camera by 90 degrees.

Something like this:

I like the cropped verison of Bull goose.....yea boost the contrast a little bit.
