Need advice onsite 4 x 6 photo printer

I have a bid for a job photographing a celebrity with the public. They want to print the photos on site and have the celebrity be able to photograph them immediately. There is a huge variable, this could end up being a few shots or hundreds. This is a highly publicized event with no rsvp so no one knows how many could show.

Anyway, I have an Epson 2200- way to big to take. I was thinking about the Epson PictureMate Deluxe. Any opinions?

Are you wanting to hook your camera directly up to the printer? If so, what camera are you planning to use?

Epson PictureMate Deluxe is good but slow, I think mine takes between 1.5 & 2.5 minutes to print depending on the subject, I don't know what else is out there now, but I'm sure there has to be faster ones that can do the same job quicker, Goodluck

Print directly from any digital camera with PictBridge capability, or from most popular memory cards when using the optional KODAK 8-in-1 Card Reader or KODAK 6-in-1 Card Reader.

I shoot with a canon 20d. Planning on switching out CF cards contstantly and printing directly from printer or I can print from my laptop. I need something quick, but unfortunately my budget is not condusive to the prices of the quick ones.
