Need help advancing film in Holga 120n

[Hawaii Five-O]

When I advance the film, where should the film number be? Like in the first frame, should the #1 be in the center of the little viewing window, to the far left or the far right?

of the film that I am having problems developing I can still see that most of the frames are running together and overlapping.
