There are few Tamron versions of the 70-300mm and so does the Nikon.
Assuming you are talking about comparing the latest versions of both lenses then they are very close so either one will fit the bill.
I would consider getting this lens used.
I got mine used, they go for around 250$-300$ so its well worth considering getting it used if you feel confident doing that.
