Need Help, Light Meter

I have an old sekonic l-6 light meter, http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u148/JJgolfer/PictureorVideo143.jpg, and can please someone help me know how to use it i forget its been a while, i know the number reading has something to do with an f-stop and the black dial has to do with shutter speed but how does it all go together pleas ehelp with this one
