You didn't mention where they were taken but I believe the first is a female Greater Prairie-Chicken

That could be good call as well, the pale throat is what makes me think Prairie-Chicken.

the tail on the female greater prarie chicken does not match the bird in the pic they were taken in ontario

In your area (if this near your home) you be hard pressed to find a Sharp Tailed Grouse it's more likely a Ringnecked Pheasant female or juvi.

That looks like a good call on this one as it does have that light throat.

He's currently near Sault Ste Marie so the Grouse could be in his area.
