Need help with another tree

Here is a tree I shot yesterday. I thought it was kinda cool kinda creepy. I am looking for a gothic type look. but dont know how to reach that point if I even can because of the background images. help !!!

go back at dusk and take the picture across the street, include the house the trees propertys on and try to narrow the view cutting the stop sign and tele pole out..but thats not leaving you much creativity, you could always photoshop stuff out.....nice tree though

maybe a better angle would help? Ill stand on there lawn snap the pic and run as they chase me down with a wooden stick...lol

perhaps a better composition would make it better.

It's underexposed. The background is too crowded, and it has a central composition..... It looks like a snapshot.
