Need Help With Nikon SB-800

Okay, So i bought a Nikon SB-800 so i can use the wireless flash ability with my SB-600. Well, after reading the owners manual 6 times about the wireless ability, i can not get the Sb-600 to fire when my 800 is on my camera. Any suggestions? Anybody know what i can do to get the other flash to fire ? Thanks

Make sure they're all on the same channel and group settings for starters. This is the most common I think. Then obviously make sure you have the SB-800 commander mode set to actually fire the SB-600, heh heh.

okay thanks. How do you get to the commander mode?

ah, perhaps we missed a step. :mrgreen: You have to have the SB-800 in commander mode in the first place. Once you get it setup in Commander mode make note of the channel and group settings. Then you need to get your SB-600 in the wireless receive mode, and then make sure it's set to the same channel that the SB-800 commander is. I don't have an SB-800 so I have no idea how to get it in there, but it shouldn't be too hard.
