I just got an e-mail from someone local who wants me to do promo shots for them, but I haven't done it before because I just started doing photography a little over a year ago. Anyways, I have an idea how to do them, but they want my rates on pricing for the shoot. What price range should I go for? Will it be for each photo or the shooting? Thanks, I just honestly no idea how much to make them.

    Welcome to the forum.

I guess it depends on how they want to use the shots. You, as the photographer, will have the rights to the images created. If they want to use the shots for their portfolio (is this for a model?)...there isn't really any money generated directly from the images, so charge what you think is fair. If this is shots for a business or product, they probably want to use the shots in a commercial capacity...in which case, you should charge accordingly. That doesn't really answer 'How Much'...sorry. Maybe call around to other photographers in your area and ask what they would charge.
