Hi guys I am very much a noob, I did a photoshoot not too long ago I was very successful with my photos. but I can't seem to recreate the same lighting effects. It was a cloudy day, 50s 4f 55-200mm nikkon D90. Does it
have something to do with a bright foreground and a darker background?

    Thanks!

To clarify: You want the lowest image to look more like the upper-left one? If that's the case, then the main difference is that the lower one is about 1/2 - 2/3 stop more exposed.
