Need info from wedding photographers

I charge quite a bit for the client to have the disc, I let a few hi-res go but on the whole they buy prints, and quite a few.

That sounds like an opportunity. If your wife is looking to get her feet wet and don’t want to play Cupid for your/her low-budget friends and family, she could try getting in touch with other photographers and offering herself as a stand-in.Initially, she might has to do it for free — or at least for very little — but she’d also get the chance build a portfolio and build up her confidence.
