I'm looking to take a photograph of something that symbolizes pain, yet freedom. I have just about NO clue what to photograph, but I'm thinking a black and white of something solitary in an open environment? not sure.

Hypodermic needle(s). Lots to do with that. pain as in medical and freedom in drug use. Just a thought.

A rifle with a bayonet sticking up out of the ground with a beat up helmet.

A wedding ring that's been cut with bolt cutters.

    A baby.

A broken hypodermic- freedom from slavery and the pain of withdrawals. (There is no freedom in drug use. Drugs are simply poisons used to throw a body out of balance for a desired effect- making it inhospitable for a weaker life form such as a bacteria for instance. You might enjoy poisoning yourself but that is a matter for you and your shrink.)

I sure hope you aren't implying that I use drugs. I was thinking more like the 1960's "freedom" thing. Photos are subject to interpretation....just like a painting.

    Party on!

A drop of red ink on a index finger (slightly bend) pointing up with a drop of tear hanging down on one of the watery eyes. B&W pic with only the red ink is red. Facial expression show loneliness and sadness.
