Hi, I'm new to this forum and photography in general.
I just purchased a new Sony F717 and I'm needing some new photo software to accomidate it.
Does anyone have any suggestions. I have heard that Adobe has came out with a new program recently. Does anyone know about it, if so, what do you think?
    Any suggestions will be appreciated.
I would like to keep it under $100.
    Thanks,
    ArHuntr

There are a lot of people around here that are big PhotoShop fans, but that's a little out of your price range. I would recomend checking out Jasc's Paint Shop Pro.

Paint Shop's a good program, which I've used in the past and found fairly user friendly. I've seen it advertised anywhere from $100-150 (CAD) so you should shop around.

If you like you can try out this link http://www.jasc.com/download_4.asp? which is a free trial of the program.

    thanks for the advice tma...
I've got a lead on a fairly good deal on the photoshop program. I'm going to check it out and see what happens. If it doesn't come through, I'll check out the one you suggested.
    Thanks again,
