Negative scanner

Hi There,

I’m looking to get a 35mm negative scanner and I’ve been looking round, but I can’t seem to find one with a particular feature I think is a good idea.

What I’m after is a scanner that can simply drag through a whole roll of un cut film so I don’t have to keep loading 5 frames at a time. This would be ideal for me, as I like to have at least a low res scan to use as previews on my PC.

Does such a thing exist? Or is it only available on professional high end scanners?

They exist but the ones I found started in the $1000's. I think it was Nikon that makes one for under $2K (barely) Seems to be a feature put on already high end scanners.
