what kind of nikon do you have? i only ask because nikons creative lighting system (CLS) is pretty awesome when you do get yourself some sort of off camera flash. Its gotta be a nikon one to use it, kind of, but yea.

Honestly... it's a fine shapshot of a cute kid, but beyond that lacks much interest. The lighting is harsh due to the flash, it's soft and out of focus, background issues, etc. Not much that hasn't already been said, but I kind of felt a bit more emphasis needed to be made.

Is it a cute shot? Sure. Is it either particularly well done or artistically appealing? No. Does that take away it's value? Not a bit. After all, it's a cute shot.
