The other day I did a band shoot and we ran out of light, and one of the guys pulled out his dads halogen work lights. and I must say, they worked really well.

( if you dont know what im talking about look HERE )

Oh and another plus is that they are cheap. :thumbup:

Plenty of people use them...but the major problem is that they are hot...really hot. I wouldn't want to be standing in front of them for an extended period of time...especially in close quarters.

Another problem is that they are small and bright, which means hard light. If that's what you want, then that's great...but if you want softer light, then you need to diffuse the light and the heat may cause problems in that area.

So, where are the shots that you took with them? We want to see.
