New background

I am trying a new background for my table top type photography what do you think?

what is the background/ what kind of finish is on the table top?

the background is plastic sheet protectors that you would put into a 3 ring binder. They have a smoke type tint to them. The table they are sittin on is very dark wood almost black.

The shot was done with 1 flash bounced off the ceiling and one from the left shot through an umbrella just out of the frame.

I think it works well for the subject you are shooting. Might not work so well for other items of different colors and feel
