New Camera. First SLR

I finally got myself an SLR, been wanting one for a while, but just couldn't actually get myself to buy one. My wife finally talked me into it, and it's just a 450D, but I think it will be good to find out if I want to continue with this hobby.

I took these today, let me know what you think please.

Not diggin the vignette on them and they're all really noisy. Maybe cause they're at ISO1600?

Yeah, not sure why I like vignetting so much. Maybe I'll grow out of it.

There wasn't much light and I didn't have a tripod, so to get the shutter speed faster, I had to bump the ISO up.

Any suggestions on holding still better?

I'm not really interested in the photographs but, are these models lifesize? Where does one get a full size Big Daddy and Little Sister? Unless of course you're just playing with perspective.

It's 3am and number 2 was probably not the last image I wanted to see before I went to sleep!! Creepy as hell!

Yeah, they are fullsize. The big daddy is huge. I happen to know some people.
