New camera

    Finally purchased an XTi for myself yesterday. Took it out last nite for the fireworks and played a lot so far. I love it hehe. Here are a couple shots from this wanna be. (edited pics to be a little larger)

    I see them and they look pretty good. Too bad you didn't have more zoom.

    yes zoom is the next purchase, but I a more than satisfied with the results, and thank you. Shouldn't of resized it so small on photobucket so you could see a lil better.

    Did you go with the kit lens?

    I was thinking of getting a XTi, but still looking for a lens to get with it.

    yes this was with the 18-55 kit lens. I am going to get a zoom just not sure which 1 yet. So far I have been very pleased with the XTi. I guess for now I am gonna play play play with the kit lens :)

    I'm glad you made them bigger :) I like that second one with the stars, very cool!

    Yes I used a tripod and shot it in Manual bulb mode. ISO was at 100, but did not use a shutter release. I will next time for sure. Havin lots of fun with this camera so far :) Saving for a good zoom and macro lens now.
