New challenge 10/21 - 10/27 Are you ready for your close up?

Very nice, are you the knitter? My wife knits, and she just went to Rhinebeck.

My wife owns a Yarn/Knitting store in Rochester, Michigan.
Awesome! My wife dreams of owning a yarn/knitting store, but she's not sure she'd have the number of customers to keep it up. Also, she's very risk averse, which is probably a good thing. In Rhinebeck, NY, there is an annual sheep and wool festival, which is commonly (apparently) referred to solely as "Rhinebeck". She went with a friend who works as a designer for some yarn company.

Fenton Glass.

My last piece, and my favorite.

I sold all my other ones (100+), regrettably. Back in my younger days, I was moving around a lot because of promotions and it took hours just to pack everything. My mother bought me this one, so I cherish it just for that but in reality, it was the most beautiful one out of all of them. Not worth the most, but stunning in comparison. It proved to be a wise investment, I made good money on them when the market was good. Not so much now.

Yum! Now if someone would just do a nice scone...

We often just sit in the afternoon, open a nice bottle of Merlot, take a warm French 'baguette' out of the oven, plus lots of garlic butter.
I've lost 7 kilos in the past 8 months (stopped drinking Coca Cola, only 1 glass a day), so I don't think this is a bad habit and my specialist, he agrees.

Before the Theme is done with:

This theme got me into the botanical gardens with my sinar setup. Here is the setup:

Some preliminary results (my entry for the week). Subject movement and editing are very delicate issues in such a super high res setup. I am still on a learning curve coming from 12 and 24 Megapixels, now at 45 Megapixels:

The lens can sure deliver on 100 Megapixels but that would make the subject movement outdoors even more of a problem. Current setup means I get macro quality on leafs if I take the picture of a whole tree

Hope there are no rules against posting the photo twice. I added the one to a series in anotherr thread, but wanted in on the challenge too!
