    woo hoo got this setup for my birthday. 13' stand and 43" umbrella! going to start CONTROLLING my light instead of letting it control me! haha. PSYCHED!

    Cool! It's always exciting to get some new equipment, especially if it expands your capabilities in a significant new direction, like off-camera lighting can do! Awesome!

    An umbrella and stand seems to make all the difference! I already had the flash and sync cables so I was experimenting with OCF before but now I have a real setup.

    Congrats! I've just started with my off camera setup too, picked up an umbrella not too long ago and definately makes a difference! Enjoy and happy belated!

    Congrats!! Always feel great to have new gears, well it's always good to have anything new perhaps especially if it's things you love.
