New Flash

I ordered a Yongnuo yn 568 today. By all accounts it's quite the third party flash unit. Has anyone any tips on how to get the best out of it?From what I read the instructions included are fairly hit and miss, but more miss.

I also bought a 32gb SanDisk extreme pro, this should improve my burst ability

Not really much to say about how to get the most out of it. Its a good 3rd party flash with most features of top end name brand flashes. Just search youtube for off camera flash tutorials based on what you want to do.

Read the manual. I know that should go without saying but, lots of people just mount it and start snapping away without knowing any of the finer points of the unit.

That's the thing, manual fairly poor, flash good though and I'm getting the hang of it.

Extreme pro 95mbs is a very worthwhile purchase

I've had that flash for a year and a half now -- it's been very functional and reliable for me -- on-camera and via YN-622 triggers.
