new from ohio

my name is andy...from a town in middle of no where ohio...starting to get more into taken pictures and stumbled across this forum and figured i would check it out, i had been using a cheap 80 dollar point and shoot from sears but recently i picked up a nikon d3000, i cant take pics of people to save my life so i stick to simpler things...cars,planes,trains, nature..easy stuff lol...here is a couple of my older pics,
