    I was trying out some strobist stuff with my off camera flash today. I finally
    got my ebay radio trigger and the sun was nice and hot, so I figured it was a
    good time to do it. I need to go and find myself a better background for this.

    Heh.

    Not sure what happened with this one, but it looked cool, so I kept it.

    the lighting on #2 is very cool, where was the flash(es) placed?

    i think a polarizer wuld have helped sum on the first shot, but these are overall very nice. good job.

    I was shooting directly toward the sun and the flash was located at camera left.

    It was shot way too hot and the weird wavy smoke looking reflections are the
    tripod for the flash being reflected. Not sure why I like it, but that was the only
    reason I put it up. :)
