I jumped into the craze and bought this lens, mainly because my friend's rock band is playing at a talent show tomorrow, and I needed a lens to shoot them with (since no flash is allowed).

I tried some test shots at f/1.8, all of these shots were taken like 10 minutes after I got the lens. The two indoor shots were at ISO 800, so that explains the noise. I'm VERY happy so far with this lens, its really fun.

Congrats on the new lens! Hope you enjoy it. I love the dog and the crayon shot. Be sure and post the concert photos.

Definitely a fun and useful lens. Probably my favorite lens in my bag.
