IMG_1992.JPG a Nikon 50mm 1.4 d , I may nickname the little fella Tiny. Clarity and close focal length outstanding. Color rendition and low light.

Nice. I was recently gifted a Canon FD 50mm f3.5 macro 1:2 and Canon AE1. Really like the close focus aspect of it. Can't wait to develop the first few rolls. Loved what I was seeing in the viewfinder with DOF preview.

I use my XF 60 mm macro a lot on my Fuji, close focus definitely spices up the creativity.

I may get a 35mm 1.4 which would mimic 50mm field of view and it has a 11" minimum focus distance.

I have all this glass now and it is interesting that as I use them more and more, I can pre-vision the scene and know what lens to use but.... I often don't have that one on me.

Hi Ed, its been a long time since I saw you these parts, great seeing you again :)
    Enjoy your new toy!
Used to own this lens a long time ago too.
My buddy has this lens, it was never really all that impressive on his camera (D7100), he was ready to sell it, I told him to come over my place and let me try to help him before he will throw the towel on this lens.
I fine tuned the lens to his camera and his eyes opened up in shock how sharp this lens is, even at f1.4 its amazing, its now one of his favorite lenses, its AWESOME!!! :)
