New Lense Advice Needed

Hi Everyone,

Im looking for abit of advice as im thinking of getting a new lense. Most of my time is spent looking for great landscape shots including those at low light. At the moment im using my Canon 17-40L which is great lense but is struggles at dawn and dusk. Anyone got any ideas?

In what way does it struggle? If you want accurate rendition, then consider a wide prime like a 20mm f2.8. If you want more light, again a prime would help, especially with a wide aperture. Perhaps a tripod and a longer exposure instead?
