Hello TPF!

My name is Erick. and live in central California. I've been shooting for some years now. I have two Canons one film and one digital. I'm not a beginner, however, I am a beginner to the online photo community.

I have read several threads now and everyone is real helpful. Much different from car enthusiast forums I come from. Here I really hope to strengthen my darkroom knowledge because IMO, film is what photography is about.

Hi Erick & welcome to the forum! I too have received much feedback here than car forums I'm a member of. I'm currently taking my 1st b&w film photography class and I LOVE IT!!! It truly makes me appreciate photography more. It's rewarding seeing the finished product after going thru all the delicate steps/ process in developing my prints.

Yeah I agree, it has been so long since I've been in the darkroom. The college near me has a shoot only b&w class. No darkroom. =[ I bet it feels so great when you finish a print and see that you made it, not a computer or fancy d-slr.
Soon I'll be in the darkroom, I hope.
