Wonder if that would work on my XPro2?
Tell her to go out and buy a bunch of Coach crap
Luckily she's not into that stuff. So, far I only had to buy dinner last night. For the last month I have been buying here new office furniture for her new office. So, I think I'm good.
I miss mine.. had the AF-D version and it finally died, no repairs parts left in the system, so.... Great piece of glass regardless!
I had a Nikon 300 f/2.8 AF-d lens. I gave it to Lauderdale Camera to trade for a new AF-S lens. Basically they strung me along for a year (my work schedule was part of problem). Basically they said they could not get one. Then it was going to a NY photo show and would bring one back. And with my work I was gone from home months at a time. So went on for a year. Basically they never intended to buy the new one. They ended up closing up shop. I talked to a lawyer and basically he said would cost more than lens worth in court costs. And most likely Lauderdale Camera declared bankruptcy when they closed. So, I would be an unsecured creditor. And would be last in line. That one hurt bad. This was over 17 years ago. And still hurts.
That was the only lens I have lost, not even damaged one. Did I say it still hurts?
Yep, with an adapter.
It fits on a shelf?
that's one BIG shelf !!
Ok, if you say so....lol
It's actually a large cabinet I made from 3/4 AB plywood. Not going to trust some $50 Chinese made shelf / brackets to hold thousands of camera gear. It would put that stuff from Ikea to shame!! Only thing better would be if I used Birch ply instead. But AB plywood is 7-ply. These shelves will not be sagging like those Ikea press board ones.
What is it?
Nikon 400mm f/2.8 AF-s lens.
