    Dunno if it's any good, but it just popped out of me. I haven't written anything in a long long time, so no idea where this came from. Tell me what you think...

    I dont know any rules of writing a poem...but the theme is powerful!

    You know, stuff like rhyming words and so on .... :)

    Rhyming is most certainly not a rule, requirement, or prerequisite to writing a good poem. It's all about the look, the feel, the emotion conveyed. John's reeeeeally good at it. :D

    Yes, everything was simple and normal till the last lines! That was a beautiful roller coaster move! :)

    Only Shakespeare and his friends should be allowed to rhyme.
    It takes great technique, otherwise it just sounds trite.

    Or like Dr Suess :D

    I won't ask if this is personal. I feel it that the persona almost is wondering still, which is the weakness.
    The last line, yeah...
