Hey at least say what is good/bad about the photo. A lot of people hate on him but at the end of the day still give constructive criticism. You might want to try that
I do think the (almost) square crop works well for this, but I actually prefer your other recent self portraits...
It's so close to being square, why not go ahead and square it up?
something about the texture of the shirt and forearm works.
something about the hat and glasses doesn't - not sure why. maybe the hat should be tilted more forward since it's obvious you're trying to obscure your face, maybe hide the eyes/glasses a little more.
First impression was I like the shot overall and think it works.
Its a confusing picture.... a lot going on.
For starters, it dosen't seem like a portrait. I see two subjects, your bracelet and your hat... and your had distracts for both of them
The wavy background is further confusing me... should I be looking at the background?
If I try to step away from the other distractions and focus on your face... I'm once again distracted by the glare in the glasses.
If I get past the bracelet, the hand, the hat, the glare, and the background... the my next inclination is to look at what your face is looking at... a plain old polo t-shirt.
The last thing I actually look at is your face. And considering that you said that this is a "self portrait" I would think that you would want me to look at your face first.
Good pp if you were wearing cowboy outfit. WANTED.. Dead or Alive!
I'm pretty sure Bon Jovi already covered that.
Yes! The clothes and the PP clash in my opinion. I was trying to figure out what style you could wear with this type of PP and western is definitely it.
Fail, sorry. Your last ones were 10x better. They had good focus and clarity that actually showed us what you look like. This is another example of an average shot, processed to look even worse.
Alright I will try again haha take three tomorrow thanks y'all for your thoughts it helps in the end
