Hi All, I'm new to the forum. (Hello!) I'm based in Birmingham in the UK, and a good friend of mine, Lee Garland, has just set up a new photography studio in Nottingham, doing more 'consumer' (portraits, weddings, model z-cards etc) then his usual corporate work. I thought it was very impressive. One question I had - how many of you got into photography assisting in a photo studio. Is it the best way to go, or should I just throw myself into the market and get started. Try & get some work and prove myself that way? If not, I'm going to ask Lee if I can assist! Oh yes - here's the link to the new studio, the 'School Room Studio'.
