New to Photography looking for some C&C

Hey guys i recently bought a Nikon D3000 + 18-55 kit, Also have the new Nikon 35mm lens and a 55-200mm lens. Over the past month and a half I feel like these are the better shots I have taken. Well on to the pics.

I am a newbie, I really don't know anything about photography. I really like no. 1, it's kind of mysterious. I don't quite understans no. 2. and on no. 3, I LOVE your APBT! I have one of those too

Do you feel that all four images are equally the best ?

I honestly will say that the first image is good.
The rest ... well, they feel like snapshots.

#2: I like the blurred pink lights on the background. Gives it a playful touch IMO.

#4: Good lighting and angle and such, but I can't quite tell what the focus is. Everything seems soft.

I like #1. The colours and the angle are really nice. I also dig the expression on the dog's face in #3. The others seem like snapshots to me, as pointed out before.
