New to photography

    Can others edit my Photos:
    Photos OK to edit
    Just starting out with camera. Plan on taking a course later. Took this at a retirement center's giant pond.

    Camera: Vivitar V3800N
    Lens: Quantaray 70-210mm F4-5.6
    Filters: CPL, UV-1
    Film: CVS color ISO 200

    Hi, good to have a new photographer here!

    Well I dont know your setup but it looks like your shooting film (I think) but if you are you probably have a SLR that can zoom in and out. Well if you could I would have soomed out to capture the whole scene. It would be good but it makes me look to the sides to find more.

    Im not sure how the pond is shaped but if its not too big you could stand to the right to get a angle on the fence ( I think thats your subject).

    One more thing. if its a SLR you can change the f/stop to a higher number and the shutter to a slower speed. this will make more of the wildlife in focus, but you might have to rest the camera on something like a tripod so there isn't any blur.
