hey everyone, i'm new here, so i thought i'd make my first contribution. i've been enjoying all of your posts and pics--there's some really talented photographers here! i'm studying cinematography here in LA, but i enjoy still photography as it lets me practice composition, framing, and lighting. plain old Fuji 400, 50mm, f1.8 this was a quick grab of my gf. destaturated in photoshop. bumped up the contrast a bit. kodak max 800, 135mm, f5.6 lots of photoshopping here including softening and converting to B&W i was practicing a narrow lighting plot for class kodak B&W 400, 50mm, f1.8 just fooling around with some of my lights. her face is too hot. i tried to get rid of the shadow on her face in photoshop, but i'd rather just reshoot it. sony dsc-u30, iso100, 5mm, f4 grabbed this with my tiny 2-megapixel cybershot.
