New to the game-First piece

I'm new to photography and I'm thinking about making it my minor.

It's nothing special. I hope I can get some great pics in DC. The landscape there is amazing.

One thing bothers me a lot, it's the bottom of the pot of flowers that we can see in the photo, and also I don't like flowers too much so... hey I'lll just stop now I think it's better.

Alright thank you Shuriken. I'll keep those two things in mind next time I am taking photos.

i may be a little late, but i would have used a flash as well. The center of the flowers has too much shadow.
