Hello everyone. I have finally broken down and just bought a Nikon D 7000. It was between the d7000 or the D 800. While I would have loved the D800 I just don't do that much photography work that actually pays ( mainly just do close friends kids and tons of sports which my kids or sisters kids are doing) so I could not justify spending the extra money. About 10 years ago I switched from film to digital and bought the D100. I will keep this as a back up as it works great but super excited to see how much sharper my images are going to be with the D 7000.
Thinking about getting back into photography instead of just shooting for friends and family. So need opinions on the D7000. I have a ton of lenses and equipment as I use to do this full time before I moved to Amarillo. I am going to learn the new camera and then invest in more quality lenses and see where this leads me.
