just happened upon this forum the other day - it has already been such a huge help!

any thoughts on the following: i've been asked by one of my sister's best friends to photograph her wedding. i've done a few weddings before for friends (i'm just starting to turn this hobby i am passionate about into a business) and the bride has seen my portfolio & liked what she saw.

the wedding is out of state (about 4 hours away) and i'm not sure how much i should charge. i'm going to have to get a 2nd camera for it - whether it be renting or purchasing (and my husband to run that 2nd camera), and a few other things as far as equipment & travel expenses etc. i would love to make a little more than my costs on this, but is that unrealistic considering i'm probably at the bottom of the totem pole when it comes to "professional"? any thoughts from the more seasoned pros? thanks!
