wanted to say hi first, that i'm new and this site looks like it's a lot of fun =)
i'm fairly new to photography, some online classes to learn the technical and all i can afford so far is the Nikon D50. I read MANY photo books but wish i could afford teachers and art school... but oh well.
i've had a few paying gigs with local bands (chicago) and am not sure what area i want to get into specifically yet. depends on money!
i did work for a portraiture company a few years ago but that was really quite simple- i had a format i had to follow for every shoot, it wasn't the MOST fun but i WAS getting paid for something I love to do.
but anyway - that's me :mrgreen:
