Newbie to photography

Hello to all

I am new to the whole photography scene and now that I have bought my first DSLR camera, I want to learn how to use it to its best potential.

Purchased a Canon EOS 1300D with a EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 DC III Lens

Jessops try and sell you a level 1 in photography course to try and help you learn how to use it, as yet I have not had the time to look into this.

I am sure there are other parts of the forum where I can discuss such matters but in the meantime I just wanted to say Hi and hope I will be more active in the coming weeks/months.

Welcome to the forum and photography. There are many online courses, if you have that sort of discipline, or try community college or adult school for courses/classes.
