Hey everyone. I'm John, from Dayton, OH. I have been interested in photography since I was young, but never owned any decent equipment, and still don't. I'm thinking of going to school for photography, but it might be too late this year to start. I'd like to eventually use photography as a secondary source of income used with my card and invitation making I do currently.

Most of my subjects are cars, trains, architecture and family events and the kids sports. But armed with only a Sony Cybershot, I'm extremely limited on what I can do, obviously lol.

I hope to learn a thing or two from this forum.

Been a very long time since posting here. I've just done a lot of reading and shooting with my new gear. Well, new since Jan. 2010. We bought a T1i and I've been wearing out the SD card since lol. Trying to make this hobby a profession since my current job is physically breaking me down. I've been doing a lot of automotive photo shoots, car show coverage and cruise-ins. I love what I do now.
