i,m new here and still kind of new to photography

Hello to you too! I am also new. I love your shots. Snow is something that is a rare and fleeting opportunity here in Austin, TX. They look a little grey. Please note my vast inexperience with snow in Texas, and this may really capture exactly what you were looking for, but the way they are they look very ...lonely. This could be the mood you were trying to capture like I said. I am ignorant about snow . Lovely water shot.

I really like 1 & 2. In the first, the brown bush on the left is a bit distracting. As for 2, I wish I could see a bit more of the bottom - a bit more snow, a bit more bench. I think it would help show the massive size of the tree. I really like the low contrast look. Its not my usual taste, but I think it works here.

i tried for grey on the second one was looking for a oil painting kind of thing
but i also tried for what the day truely looked liked
it was a crappy day out with snow and rain..

the winter pictures were taking at lake Ontario near Toronto Canada
i have not done any editing with these.. i left them as the camera took them
